This Privacy Policy explains how Pluginstat ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you visit our marketing website at pluginstat.com (the "Site") or join our product waitlist.

1. Who is responsible
Pluginstat is the data controller for personal data processed through the Site.

2. What data we collect
Waitlist form
If you join the waitlist, we collect the information you submit:
- Email address
- Selected plan (Starter, Pro, or Team)
- Whether you currently use analytics for your plugin
- Optional free-text answer about what you want to learn
Waitlist submissions are processed by Loops, our email service provider.
Site usage data
With your consent, we use Mixpanel for visit analytics. This includes page views, CTA clicks, FAQ interactions, and waitlist outcomes (not the email address itself). Mixpanel is enabled only after you accept visit analytics in our privacy settings or cookie banner.
Mixpanel may collect:
- Pages viewed and general navigation on the Site
- Button and link clicks (for example, waitlist CTAs and FAQ interactions)
- Waitlist form outcomes such as successful signup or submission errors (not the email address itself)
- Referral parameters from campaign URLs (UTM tags), when present
- Device and browser information
- A pseudonymous analytics identifier stored in your browser
We do not enable IP-based geolocation enrichment in Mixpanel. If you reject visit analytics or withdraw consent, Mixpanel tracking is not loaded or is disabled.
Strictly necessary storage
We store your privacy choices in your browser (localStorage, key pluginstat_cookie_consent) so we can apply them and not ask you on every visit.
Fonts
We load the Geist font from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when your browser requests font files. See Google's Privacy Policy.
3. How we use data
- Operate the waitlist and contact you about Pluginstat launch updates
- Understand interest in our product and improve the landing page
- Measure which sections and messages are useful
- Maintain the security and basic functionality of the Site
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on:
- Consent — for Mixpanel visit analytics
- Legitimate interest — for keeping the Site secure and remembering your privacy choice
- Consent or legitimate interest — to process waitlist sign-ups and respond to your request for early access; if we send marketing emails beyond launch updates, we will ask for consent where required
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the Site. Strictly necessary storage applies your privacy choices; analytics technologies are optional and enabled only with your consent.

Resetting clears your saved choices and shows the cookie banner again. Withdrawing analytics disables Mixpanel tracking. To remove Mixpanel identifiers completely, clear cookies and site data for this domain in your browser settings.
6. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the Site:
- Loops — waitlist form and email communications
- Mixpanel — product analytics (EU API endpoint:
api-eu.mixpanel.com) - Google — font delivery
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. Mixpanel analytics data is sent to Mixpanel's EU infrastructure; some supporting services (such as their JavaScript CDN) may involve processing outside the EU.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.
8. How long we keep data
- Waitlist data — until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we no longer need it for launch communications
- Analytics data — according to Mixpanel retention settings in our project
- Cookie preference — until you reset it or clear browser storage
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent for visit analytics
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

10. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site.
